What does this website do with your data?

This website sets no cookies of its own and has no forms. Visitor numbers are counted without cookies and without building a profile. Personal data is processed at four moments: the server logs, the visitor statistics, an email you send, and an appointment you book through Calendly. The controller is Power BiSon Consultancy B.V., Chamber of Commerce number 96872772.

Who is responsible

Power BiSon Consultancy B.V., registered with the Netherlands Chamber of Commerce under number 96872772, at Communicatieweg Oost 12 S, 1566 PK Assendelft, the Netherlands. Reachable at info@powerbison.io. Dutch law applies, as it does to the terms and conditions. Where this English text differs from the Dutch version, the Dutch version prevails.

What this site does not do

This website sets no cookies and writes nothing to your browser. There is no advertising network and no tracking pixel. The fonts are served from our own server, so no request goes to another party for those either. There is no form anywhere on the site: reading it gives nothing away.

Visitor numbers

We count how many people view which page, using Vercel Web Analytics. No cookie is involved and no profile is built. Per visit we record which page you opened, which site you came from, which country you are in and what kind of device, browser and operating system you use. Your IP address is not stored: it is only used briefly to derive a non-traceable identifier that changes every day. So we cannot see who you are, nor whether you also came by yesterday.

Why we do this: to see which topics get read and which pages do not work. The legal basis is legitimate interest, article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Because no cookie is placed and the data cannot be traced back to you, no consent is required. The figures are processed by Vercel Inc. and kept for as long as we hold the subscription.

When data is processed

Server logs

The party hosting this website records which page was requested and when, along with the IP address and browser type. That happens on every website and is needed to deliver and protect it. The legal basis is legitimate interest: a site that does not know it is being attacked cannot defend itself. These records are not used to follow you and are not combined with anything else.

An email you send

If you write to info@powerbison.io, your name, your email address and what you write end up in the mailbox. That is used to answer your question and, if an engagement follows, to carry it out. The legal basis is the performance of a contract or the steps leading up to one. Correspondence is kept as long as the administration requires; for anything that enters the bookkeeping, the statutory retention period of seven years applies.

Booking a conversation

The scheduling calendar sits on the contact page and at the foot of a few others, and comes from Calendly. It loads with the page, and Calendly places cookies on your device when it does. If you book, Calendly also processes what you enter: your name, your email address and the time you pick. Calendly is a US company and acts as a processor here. If you would rather not, an email to info@powerbison.io does the same job. What they do is set out in their own privacy notice.

Playing an episode

The podcast episodes are hosted on YouTube and embedded through youtube-nocookie.com. That variant sets no cookies as long as you do not press play. The player loads only once you scroll down far enough for it to come into view; at that moment Google does learn your IP address, because the image comes from their server. Press play and Google's terms apply. The overview pages show a thumbnail per episode; those are fetched from YouTube as well, and Google sees your IP address there too.

Links elsewhere

This site links to LinkedIn, Spotify, YouTube, Skool and databewuster.com. The moment you click, you are on their website and their rules apply, not ours. We pass nothing about you along.

Who else sees your data

Only the parties needed to do the work: the host of this website, the party handling the email, Calendly when you book an appointment yourself, and the accountant for whatever enters the bookkeeping. No data is sold and nothing is shared for advertising.

What you can ask for

You have the right to ask what data exists about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict the processing, to object, and to receive your data in a readable file. An email to info@powerbison.io is enough; you get an answer within a month. If you disagree with how that goes, you can complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

Security

The site is served over https only. Access to mail and administration is protected with two-factor authentication. Data processed as part of an engagement falls under article 15 of the terms and conditions: there the client is responsible for the data processed using our service, and we provide a level of security appropriate to it.

Changes

If something changes about the site or about the parties involved in it, this text changes with it. The date at the top says when that last happened.
